About Us

Niseko Car Rental is a locally owned family business here in Niseko, Hokkaido.  We're now into our 8th year of operations (as of 2020).

We are skiers ourselves so we understand what our customers need - reliable and well set-up 4WD vans and cars at reasonable prices. We are dedicated to helping our customers explore Hokkaido hassle free! All of our vehicles are well-maintained and of course hold the appropriate Japanese licenses and insurance.

Our operations and dealings are offered in native English and also Japanese. We also offer hassle free car drop-offs to your accommodations in Hirafu.

Along with our new vehicles, we also supply slightly older cars at far more reasonable rates than the larger country-wide chains, enabling you to explore the incredible island that is Hokkaido. All of our vehicles have English-language Garmin navigation systems, with many preloaded waypoints -- including several of the largest Hokkaido ski fields. Our vehicles also come with the widest possible ski racks and good aux-input stereos so you can enjoy your own music on your travels. In summer, we also offer camping kits with everything you could need to enjoy all the magnificent green vistas of Hokkaido.
